Passenger services

Do you need to speak with your airline?

Contact them directly. Here is the contact information for airlines and handling agents at the four largest airports:

Have you lost/forgotten something?

If you have lost something inside the airport (including the security checkpoint), it will be delivered to lost and found. You can find contact information here.

If you have lost something on the plane, it will often be delivered to lost and found. If it is not delivered to lost and found, you must contact the airline you traveled with, or alternatively the handling agent that handles baggage for the airline. You can find information about this on the airline’s website.

Is my flight on time?

If you have questions about delays, cancellations, or anything else related to your flight/ticket, you must contact the airline directly.

Bad weather:

As long as the airport is open, everyone assumes that the flight will depart as normal. If something happens due to bad weather, this is a decision that will be made between the pilots/operations and air traffic controllers at the relevant time. Sometimes the airport is closed if it needs to be plowed or for other technical reasons, and then the airline must be contacted for any ticket changes.

Strike:

As a passenger, you must follow the information you receive directly from the airline. Avinor cannot answer how a possible strike will affect your flight.

Avinor does not have access to the airline’s booking systems and therefore cannot make changes to your booking. We also cannot confirm cancellations or delays on behalf of the airline.

Parking

How can I change/cancel my parking? For questions regarding changes, the parking operator must be contacted. Avinor is an intermediary for pre-booking parking but does not have access to make changes to your booking.

I want a refund for my parking. Contact the parking operator. Avinor is an intermediary for pre-booking parking, but the payment goes to the parking operator.

Where is my luggage?

If your luggage did not arrive with the flight, is delayed, or you have taken the wrong luggage from the belt, you must contact the airline you traveled with, or the handling agent directly.

Avinor has no access to the airline’s ticket system to track your luggage; this is not a process that Avinor is directly involved in.

Baggage rules

When can I check in/when must I check in?

Contact the airline you are traveling with.

If the airport you are departing from is closed at night, it is not possible to check in the day before. In many cases, you can check in earlier in the day if you have a flight later the same day, but this is regulated by the individual airlines. Contact the airline for more details regarding check-in.
